The Class of 2015 made me a thank you video on their own. It is so heartfelt and beautifully done. This is as good as it gets for a teacher. All 35 of them will attending college in the fall and two-thirds plan on majoring in a computer science or technology related field. The line that gets me is when Carolina says,"Thank you for believing in us when we did not believe in ourselves.." The best!

Student TestimonialsFrom Beatriz, Class of 2011 - Feb, 2014 Thank you so much for being such a support throughout high school and even after. You have been such an inspiration for me and for everyone else I know it. You have believed in me since the moment you met me...a belief that has taken me years to finally accept on my own. Thank you for being so kind and generous and wonderful. I will return and tell you of all my adventures to affirm how much of an incredible influence you always were, have been, and will be. Angel, Class of 2013 - an excerpt from an essay he wrote for a scholarship he received "When I entered Mrs. Aaronson’s class I was not responsible and very shy but by the time I came out I was more confident in my ideas and much more serious about my work." From Shalonda, Class of 2012 Thank you Ms. Aaronson for pushing us in tech about our resumes and updating them... It is truly paying off. From Class of 2012 student: Thank you for being such an amazing person. If it weren't for your wisdom and generosity, a significant amount of your (current and former) students wouldn't be nearly as content and successful as they are now. I hope that all the good things you've done for everyone will reciprocated one day. From Class of 2012 student about life after high school: Thank you so much for all your support and information you gave us while being in your class. Yesterday after 8 months not being in school and today after taking my first classes as a college student, the first person that came in to my mind was you. My two instructors reminded me so much of you. I’m grateful to you and the TECH Academy because everything you taught us I’m putting into practice. I’m getting my AA on Computer Application and Office Technology. I didn’t have to pay anything for admission, orientation and my classes. There is a lot of help for AB540 students the DREAM ACT, the BOG Fee waiver and EOP too. ... I applied for the Deferred Action and I got my working permit, my social and California ID. Once again Ms. Aaronson thank you for being an excellent teacher and I appreciate all the time you invested in us class of 2012. From Demsy, Class of 2012 after going on his first job interview after graduation: I went to a job interview and as I see the other candidates, I'm just like; are you seriously dressed liked that? Ha! His resume does not compare to mine! And the interviewer is like where are your qualifications and I'm just like, here is my digital portfolio PAUSE** 15 minutes later they inform me I got the job and I start in March! And that they have never ever seen a candidate so prepared like me!!! THANK YOU MRS.AARONSON!!!!!! this is for you! From Wendy, Class of 2011 I’m just emailing to inform you that I got accepted to Mt. St. Mary's the Chalon campus. =) Thank You very much for all your help. You make applying to college much easier. Your class taught me how to act in an interview, what to say, how to do a good resume, and how to gather ideas in order to complete our personal statement. I really appreciate all you do for us and I want to thank you because you prepared us. From Katya, Class of 2010 "I felt the need to write to you because I have realized that even though I graduated in 2010, the experiences you thrive to implement and instill in all of the Tech Academy alumni is still helping me shape my future today. Recently I have been given a job offer that I might not have been able to achieve without the help from both (LBP) and your guidance. I still list my internship at DDB on my resume, and that is always a conversation starter during interviews." |
